According to the report of WA Beta Info, this feature has recently been introduced to Android users of the beta app. According to a screenshot shared by WABetaInfo on Twitter, users will post a disappearing image from the call gallery itself. After selecting an embodiment, the user will see a clock-like icon, which will need to be taped. You will see this option next to the caption bar while posting the image.


This feature will work like this.

To send photos/videos in View Once mode, the WhatsApp user must first select the media and tap on the clock-like icon. It will be available near the 'Add a caption bar. When the recipient opens the media, WhatsApp will notify the sender.

WhatsApp will display the following message to the recipient once the media is opened: "This photo is set for one-time viewing. For more privacy, this photo will disappear after you close it."

You can use WhatsApp's View Once feature for photos as well as videos and GIFs. Users will have to update their WhatsApp beta version number to 2.21.14.3 to use this feature. Also, if you send the disappearing photo to the group, you will know to open the image of the members present in the group.
